Entry Requirements

At the University of Roehampton, we accept a range of international qualifications for entry to our programmes.

For Nigerian students joining one of our pathway programmes, we accept the qualifications in the table below.

International Foundation Programme Completion of Senior School Certificate with 5 subjects at C6 or above.


Additional requirements if applying for a Combined CAS.

3 term programme: IELTS 4.5 (with no single element below 4.0) from a UKVI Approved centre

2 term programme: IELTS 5.0 (with no single element below 4.5) from a UKVI Approved centre

WAEC C6 minimum in English can be accepted in lieu of an IELTS if the WAEC qualification is achieved within 2 years of chosen intake.

International Year One (Business) 5 C6 grades or above from WAEC/NECO IELTS 5.5 (with no single band below 5.5)

London is famous around the world for many things, however if there’s one area it really stands out above the rest it is the endless shopping experiences on offer. You can visit the world-renowned Oxford Street and Regent Street to take in all your favourite high street brands. If you are after a more unique shopping experience then take yourself off to Shoreditch market or Petticoat Lane market – here you will find fashion and clothing not available anywhere else in the city.

In London there is a culinary experience to suit every palate. The huge variety of food on offer means that in your time studying with us there is no way you can experience it all! Be sure to check out Borough Market near London Bridge for a huge range of cuisines available at a reasonable price.


London’s culture and heritage is one of the main reasons why tourists come from far and wide to visit the city. Studying with us in London is your chance to really soak up the culture on offer. A good starting point is one of the many museums or art galleries – try the Natural History Museum or the National Portrait Gallery first, both of which are free to visit.
